The OCSO primarily patrols un-incorporated areas of the county i.e. Deer Creek, Smith Village, Crutcho, Woodland Park, the Stock-yards, and rural areas.<br /><br />2. Checkpoints are conducted once monthly. The OCSO does conduct checkpoints in the OKC area but many are conducted in other areas including Luther, Harrah, Deer Creek, and unincorporated rural areas.<br /><br />3. The OCSO participates in the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office Central Oklahoma Metro Interdiction Team (COMIT). This group is made up of several metro area law enforcement agency that patrol the interstates focused on illegal drug trafficking.<br /><br />4. The OCSO employs 183 full-time commissioned deputies.<br /><br />5.
