Classen Curve update

For those living under a rock, Chesapeake Energy is currently developing land along the curve of Classen Blvd (across Western from their HQ campus) into a cutting-edge retail development that features exciting, provocative design (Rand Elliott is the project architect). The project is Classen Curve. The buildings are up, closer to the Belle Isle retail they're pretty much finished, whereas closer to Western, they just got the frame up. I took some pics yesterday detailing the progress of this development. Enjoy. And for a project tour comprised of better-quality pics, check out OKCReview.com.

So far tenants include 105 degrees (a new restaurant concept), Republic Gastro Pub (which will be like a modernist version of McNellies, completely unrelated), and other restaurant concepts have been rumored. One rumor is that Full Circle Bookstore may relocate from 50 Penn Place, but I doubt it, because there won't be enough contiguous space large enough for them unless they seriously downsize, which I think would be a big blow for them. Aubrey McClendon, Chesapeake CEO, has stated they want to bring in some retailers that Oklahoma does not yet have, as well, but no retailers have been officially announced yet.
